The collection presents seven castles which were once in Loka territory: Loški grad (Loka Castle), Zgornji stolp na Kranclju (Upper Tower on Krancelj), Stari grad (Old Castle), Puštalski grad (Puštal Castle), Ajmanov grad pri Sv. Duhu (Ajman Castle at St. Duh), Starološki grad (Old Loka Castle) and Šempeter in Stražišče. Castles as fortifications and residences are represented in the Museum by models, castle inventories, photographs and archeological finds.
