The Škofja Loka Museum has prepared a selection of works by Ive Šubic (1922–1989) that are part of its museum collections to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of one of the most prominent twentieth-century artists from the Škofja Loka area.
On Prešeren Day we invite you to visit the Škofja Loka Museum, Škopar House, Ivan Grohar Gallery and France Mihelič Gallery and other locations. We will be open from 10 am to 5 pm, admission will be free! Welcome!
Katja Preša is one of the wittiest storytellers in the Slovenian area. She embarked on the storytelling journey with the "Za dva groša fantazije" team of Radio Študent. She is happy to tell stories to both children and adults, preferably in a humorous way.
The Croatian artist Goran Tomčić, whose exhibition titled Pompom Nets - Škofja Loka, is currenly on view at the Ivan Grohar Gallery, will give a lecture on the history of participatory work in art history and today.
