So familiar and told over and over again, the interlace of romantic and tragic stories. But in the stories that narrators Renata Lapanja and Andrea Pandolfo will introduce to us, love and death are not like those of Shakespeare, nor of those who claim to be always in pairs and inseparable. The authors do not meet them in a way that they call them mere elemental forces, instead they see them as an everyday component of life, something that accompanies and guides every human being, something that is in principle always present but not necessarily all-encompassing. They tell people's stories of love and death directly, simply and honestly.

Renata Lapanja is an amateur accordion player and story collector. She comes from the Tolmin Hills and currently lives and works in Tolmin. Andrea Pandolfo is an artist by heart and by profession a composer and trumpeter. He is also involved in photography. He comes from Rome and currently lives and works in Tolmin. Death and Love Stories is their first collaborative music storytelling project.

The narrative evening is organized in collaboration with the Grable Cultural Society.
