The three storytellers, each in her own style, will tell the story of the heroines, the insubordinate, rebellious, persistent, those who do not wait for their fate to happen but take it bravely and sometimes boldly into their own hands. They will tell stories about women on a journey full of transformations, trials, difficult tasks and not always happy ends.

Japanese story The bear of the young moon speaks of anger, love, patience, perseverance and forgiveness. In the Scottish folk fairy tale, the main character is the fearless Catherine, who saves her beautiful sister from a vicious spell and the prince from a serious illness. In the myth of Atalanta, however, we get to know a fighter, a tentacle, the fastest runner in the world, a wild woman who mocked the greatest Greek heroes of her time.

Narrated by: Karla B. Rihtaršič, Anja Kocman and Petra Čičić. The narrative evening is organized in collaboration with the Grable Cultural Society.
