Artist Talk: Peter Gaber

Join us for an artis talk at the Ivan Grohar Gallery! Our curator Boštjan Soklič will talk to the painter Peter Gaber, whose exhibition The Coming World is currently on view at the gallery. In the past and tradition, the artist tries to find everything that he finds symbolically significant and that means value even today, while directly telling us his inner world. With his works of art, he reveals to us the abyss of the unconscious, visions and fantastic flashes that flow into the painterly language of colors and strokes. Within both landscape and figural painting, it suggests new directions of expression and raises questions about the meaning of classical painting motifs in modern times.
