Guided Tour of the Exhibition Invisible Companions by Barbara Kastelec

The exhibition Invisible Companions of the visual artist and member of the Škofja Loka Artists' Association Barbara Kastelec presents enigmatic circular images through which the author returns to the contents and themes on the border between art and documentary depictions of ecosystems of interconnected terrestrial organisms. It offers us an insight into the networks of "invisible bringers of life", without which our existence would be impossible, and at the same time establishes continuity with her previous painting cycles from the creative period between 2012 and 2020.
