Guided Tour of the Škofja Loka Passion Play Collection

1 and 2 October 2022 are marked for the first time as days of the European Network of Holy Week and Easter Celebrations, which was founded on 18 March 2019 in Braga, Portugal. It is an international network of tourist destinations or a cultural route, the purpose of which is to combine efforts to preserve the intangible heritage associated with Holy Week and Easter. A network of 18 towns and cities from five European countries (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Malta and Slovenia) presents the similarities and differences in the celebration of Holy Week and Easter that occur in different parts of Europe.

We are also joining the celebration of the anniversary in Škofja Loka, as we have been members of the aforementioned association since its foundation. For this purpose, we will organize a guided tour of the permanent collection of the Škofja Loka Passion Play in the Škofja Loka Museum on Saturday, 1 October, at 10 am. Curator Nina Misson will take you through the collection.
