Historial at the Škofja Loka Museum

The medieval event Historial reveals the material and cultural heritage of Škofja Loka and presents the tradition of various guilds, on the basis of which various activities of domestic and artistic crafts still operate today.

For the introductory event of the festival, the curators of the Škofja Loka Museum are preparing interesting lectures on this year's topics of the Historial:

• Mojca Šifrer Bulovec will present the bakery heritage, which was first mentioned in Stara Loka in 1291;
• Jože Štukl will present the tradition of brewing in the Škofja Loka area.
