Light infantry weapons of the Yugoslav People's Army and the Territorial Defense

The curator of the Škofja Loka Museum Jože Štukl will present selected pieces of weapons that are kept in the Škofja Loka Museum's collection. He will present the submachine gun, which was considered a symbolic weapon of Slovenian independence, the smallest submachine gun in the world and one of the most recognizable automatic rifles, 100 million of which were produced.

The lecture is part of the accompanying program of the exhibition From Liberation to Independence, which is on display in the Castle Gallery and permanent collections of the Škofja Loka Museum until 25 September 2022.
