Make Your Own Poster!

We will start the workshop with a visit to the exhibition From Liberation to Independence, which presents the development of Škofja Loka and its surroundings form 1945 and 1991. We will focus on the poster as a medium of communication with the masses and get to know what role it played during the war and what it has today. We will also look at examples of posters calling for workers' actions. A practical workshop will follow, where we will create our own poster with the help of alternative graphic techniques and hand-printing. We will draw our motif in the moosi gum, think about its message and talk about the importance of reproducibility of graphic techniques.
