Perspectives on Folk Art

You are invited to a lecture on the expert perspectives on the meaning of folk art through history. The talk will explore the kinds of objects that were collected in museums based on these views and the role that folk art has played (and continues to play) within the concepts of the nation. The lecture will be given by Dr. Bojana Rogelj Škafar, Senior Curator at the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum.
