Print Your Message!

This workshop is connected to the exhibition For the Democratisation of Art – Revisited. We will explore what printmaking is, the significance it had in the past and the role it plays today, while also learning about a basic printmaking technique.

Taking inspiration from a graphic work by the Laibach group, we will consider how images and words can be used to express an idea or convey a message. We will then create our own prints, incorporating a message that we would like to share with the world.

The workshop is free of charge and is intended for children in grades 1–6. Parents are also warmly invited to join in the creative process.
