You are kindly invited to attend the opening of two exhibitions by Tomislav Brajnović on Wednesday, 28 September 2022:
at 6.00 pm in the Ivan Grohar Gallery The Heavens Restore Order,
at 7.30 pm in the Škofja Loka Museum The Artist is a Living Museum.
Tomislav Brajnović (1965) is a contemporary conceptual artist from Croatia and professor at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka. His oeuvre spanning over thirty years is focused on the ever-topical themes of ideology, religion, history, the role of arts, the artist, ethics and humankind. The artist uses a variety of media, such as spatial installation, video, printmaking, sound, painting, sculpture, performance, happening, photography etc.
The exhibition on view at the Ivan Grohar Gallery presents nine works from Brajnović’s recent production. Sixteen other works from his extensive oeuvre are exhibited in a dialogue with the content of the permanent museum collections and in the chapel and living room of the Škofja Loka Museum.
E-minibus transportation will be available from the Ivan Grohar Gallery to the Škofja Loka Museum.
