Tomo Savić Gecan: Untitled, 2026

The Amsterdam-based Croatian artist Tomo Savić-Gecan has conceived his new work Untitled, 2026 specifically for Škofja Loka and linked it to the Škofja Loka Museum’s collection of old books. The exhibition will be held at the almost empty Ivan Grohar Gallery and on the museum’s premises at Škofja Loka Castle.

Each week, an old book from the Škofja Loka Museum collection will be selected. The book’s formal characteristics will be translated into a set of performance instructions that define the space, duration and movement elements of a group performance staged in one of the rooms at Škofja Loka Castle.

The time and location of each performance will be announced here on the Tuesday preceding the week of the performance.

Next performance will take place on Wednesday, 14 October, at 14:21 at the Castle Gallery.
