Tomo Savić-Gecan: Untitled (Benetke, Split, Škofja Loka)

The internationally acclaimed artist Tomo Savić-Gecan, Croatia’s representative at the 2022 Venice Biennale, who lives and works in Amsterdam, used the Škofja Loka Museum’s collection of old books, specifically the Ivan Tavčar Collection, as the point of departure for an exhibition designed specifically for Škofja Loka. 

The exhibition will feature a spatial intervention at the Ivan Grohar Gallery and a series of performances presented several times a week throughout the exhibition by a team of eight participants in the museum’s premises at Škofja Loka Castle.

The exhibition will be inaugurated at 18:00 at the Ivan Grohar Gallery. Two pre-opening performances will take place at Škofja Loka Castle between 15:00 and 18:00.
