Together with history curator Biljana Ristić, you will explore the life and atmosphere of the castle garden during the time when the Ursuline sisters lived and worked there, guided by a rich collection of historical photographs. Part of the lessons at the Ursuline girls’ school took place beneath the linden tree avenue, where school benches were set up outdoors. The garden and park also served as spaces for outdoor classes and physical education activities, including croquet, basketball, volleyball, and table tennis.

Alongside exercise, exploration, and leisure activities, the pupils organised celebrations in the garden for church holidays, birthdays, and name days, and marked the end of the school year with singing and musical accompaniment. Their days were also enlivened by several fascinating animals that once lived in the castle garden.
