With its wealth of natural and cultural heritage, the Poljane Valley and the surrounding hills have always been a source of inspiration for artists and their works of art. The scenes and subjects from the land at the foot of Blegoš that are part of the exhibition on view at the Visoko Mansion were captured by the architect Tone Mlakar and show many long-lost and long-forgotten places, metaphorically illustrating bygone times.

They talk about the creation of the world, the three sister rivers, about St. Peter and Jesus, when they were walking around the world, about why the stupid farmer has the fattest potato, about the soldier Pust, King Matjaž and other sayings and things.
