We kindly invite you to the opening of the exhibition Comics by the Kranj-born visual artist, comic artist, illustrator, caricaturist, script writer and publicist Zoran Smiljanić.
We will start the workshop by visiting the exhibition From Liberation to Independence, focus on the poster as a medium of communication with the masses and learn about its role during the war and today. Then we will make our own poster with the help of alternative graphic techniques and hand-printing!
You are cordially invited to a guided tour of the exhibition From Liberation to Independence in the Castle Gallery. We will take a look what Škofja Loka was like in the post-war period, how it was rebuilt, its economic development, how culture developed and what art marked that time and how the path led us to independence in 1991.
