The exhibition of Turkish artist and university lecturer Borga Kantürk weaves together the personal with broader social and political realities through drawings, photographs, video, and collages. Rooted in a distinctly documentary, diaristic, and archival practice, Kantürk chronicles his daily life and the events that shape it – from the academic environment and artist residencies to natural disasters, protests, and football as a site of solidarity and resistance. His works often integrate clippings from print media alongside a wide range of art-historical, literary, and cinematic references.

Join us for our children's workshop, where we will explore the world of archaeology.

This workshop is intended for elementary school students. Younger children are also welcome to join, accompanied by a parent.

Every last Saturday of the month, you take a guided tour of our permanent collections and get to know the rich natural and cultural heritage of the Škofja Loka area, and afterwards have a cup of coffee (with a coupon) at the Škofja Loka Castle Cafe while enjoying an excellent view of the medieval town.
