On the occasion of the school's anniversary, we invite you to the opening of an exhibition of students' artwork on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The works, created under the mentorship of Vida Kejžar over the past decade, will be presented.
Join us for a Castle Matinee! Every last Saturday of the month, you take a guided tour of our permanent collections and get to know the rich natural and cultural heritage of the Škofja Loka area, and afterwards have a cup of coffee (with a coupon) at the Škofja Loka Castle Cafe while enjoying an excellent view of the medieval town.
The Škofja Loka Mushroom Society is once again hosting a mushroom exhibition this year. Join us on Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, under the arcades in the castle courtyard for a symbolic tasting of mushroom tea and mushroom snacks.
Join us on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, at 18:00 for a guided tour of the exhibition The Bukovščica Case Study.
Join us for an evening of storytelling in the Soriška dialect. The stories will be told by Miha Markelj and Boris Jensterle.

Under the guidance of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, two portraits by the painter Ivan Franke were treated by experts from the Restoration Centre. Alongside the exhibition 19th-Century Arts in the Škofja Loka Area they will represent the process of art restoration.

Within the framework of The Youth Ivan Grohar Art Colony 2025, an award ceremony for last year's selected artists will be held at the France Mihelič Gallery.
