Every last Saturday of the month, you can take a guided tour of our permanent collections and get to know the rich natural and cultural heritage of the Škofja Loka area, and afterwards have a cup of coffee (with a coupon) at the Škofja Loka Castle Cafe while enjoying an excellent view of the medieval town.

Opening of the Exhibition Marjan Žitnik – Industrial Designer
The multimedia retrospective exhibition of the oeuvre of Marjan Žitnik, one of Slovenia’s most prolific industrial designers, will be a retrospective and a critical evaluation of the oeuvre of an extremely prolific and versatile designer, and thus also offer an insight into industrial design.
On a guided tour of the BIEN 2023 exhibitions in Škofja Loka, you will learn about the work of Finnish environmental and textile artist Kaarina Kellomäki, an exhibition of abstract textile paintings by Varka Kozlović, a Slovenian artist living in Denmark, and the textile work of Turkish artist Gözda Ju.
On Saturday, 17 June, when the "Museums on a Summer Night" event is taking place, our locations will be open from 6.00 to 9.00 pm with free admission. Welcome!
