Past events

The stories piled on the slopes of the forest are full of interesting animals, heroes and adventures. We will head to the fairytale forest, sit under a tree and listen to the inhabitants of the forest: squirrels and hedgehogs, bandits, bears, grandfathers, pieces and pieces. Storytelling for children, the kind in which we will be a little scared at times, but sometimes we find it all terribly funny, is narrated by Katja Preša. The event is being co-organized with KD Grable.

The urban beat of Škofja Loka has been vibrant in the past. The rhythm was dictated by trade links, regular weekly fairs, celebrations and a rich guild life. In the centuries of development, various societies have joined the list, bringing together in their ranks people with similar cultural or sporting interests. Societies were increasingly becoming the connective tissue of life in and around the city, which attracted not only locals but also residents of the surrounding areas. Especially in the second half of the 19th century, in Škofja Loka, the societies inspired, taught, educated, and thus maintained the connection of the townspeople with one another. In their organized form, in addition to socializing, their goal was to educate and educate members and non-members.
