Focus

The “Focus” exhibition project highlights new museum acquisitions, showcases objects kept at our storage facilities and spotlights additional artefact processing or certain exhibits from our permanent collections. The permanent Focus area is located near the main entrance, just before you enter the museum collections, while the mobile Focus exhibitions move around the museum, spotlighting a selects few objects from the permanent collections every year. The aim is to present the selected item, provide additional information and offer new perspectives on the topic at hand. This is a way to micro-update our permanent collections; by highlighting individual parts, we create new focal points and offer fresh interpretations.
